This is the 1st time I visit your blog (yours is not in the 972 main page). I got the link from LeeLian's blog by chance. I listen to 972 at least 12 hours daily, from 8.30am. I must compliment that the 972 DJs are all very good, good voice, dedicated in their work, hardworking, friendly, sincere & helpful. All have their own flair, style and many varieties in the 972 programmes. Think a lot of listeners support 972 and many got addicted to listening to it, just like me. Wow, u so young already hold such a high post. I like your voice coz you always speak with a smile in your voice. Looking at your surname, may I ask are u a Hainanese?
BTW, may I know where is the sand castle area located, coz East Coast has a very long coastline. Regards, Margaret

Although I like Billy, but Yong Mei has been putting so much effort to her programme and I am addicted to her timing, why must she give way. Poor Yong Mei.

I completely agreed with Irene & Mrs Chua. I don't understand why must Yong Mei give up her time slot just becos Billy is back. We are all so use to her timing already. Her program is 多姿多彩，我们都看到她的努力。我们听众需要的是能为我们服务的 DJ, 而不是一直想在我们身上刮钱的人。你身为经理的该醒醒吧！
Well, we understand it may not be his decision and he is also in difficult position. But he is the manager, he should think of a better solution.
We will definitely support Yong Mei, but we still think that it is unfair to her lo. Btw, which slot is "the management" decide to put Yong Mei in then.
i started to listen 972 last month , i am young aunty, start to love yong mei mc king and this bryan teacher, i think is really wide variety. Got health beauty and fun.
Do consider this combination is cool, we tried all the remedies yong mei and bryan teacher teach and are effective.
Also MC laughter bring fun. Oh no no choice one is management decision.

I truly agreed with those comments. Billy is not the first time say want to go then after a while want to come back. We dunno how long will he be back this time maybe another 3 or 6 mths just becos he can easily to get supporter thru the radio? Last time Yong Mei and Ah Hong is doing so well at their "Hong Mei Diau" during this session too but end up Ah Hong hv to go just becos Billy is coming back. Appreciate Billy helping a lots of ppl in need and we as a listener also can learn a lot from him but basically i think he hv to really make up his mind whether where will he want to stay. Dun anyhow just change his mind so easily not even a yr then he say he want to come back then after some time he say want to go n do concert again to make money, that is v bad !!!!!

I also become faithful 97.2 whole day listener since late Oct/early Nov last year after the new programme schedule. So I couldn't actually compare the programmes before or Billy's style objectively. However, I occasionally chanced listening to Billy, know that he is a very articulate DJ & always say a lot 'Gan Xie Nin' thank u, & he attracted a lot of auntie/housewife listeners.
I must congratulate that 972 is very fortunate to have many good, dedicated & hardworking DJs. Each have their style & ability which made 972 covers a variety of topics including information on beauty, cooking, household tips, local music, oldies songs, helping & interacting with listeners a lot, and not to mention have this DJ blog which enable better communication between listeners & DJs which is a merit point.
Yong Mei have thought of many new ideas for her programme like beauty tips, couple matching, etc.
From what other listeners reflected, it seems that YongMei played a stand in for free slot when DJ leave or when it is available, like now her air hour is longer than most of the DJs.
No offence to Billy or his fans, perhaps his new schedule can be shorten, don't have to be 4hrs. Then Yong Mei also can have have her time slot. :) Margaret
Hello Guo Xian "Happy Castle" becomes a place to vend anger on the change of YongMei's air time, looks like not so Happy leh! But I too like to join in. Whatever reasons 972's management has for bringing BW to 10am slot, appears that 972 only needs publicity to sell his concert AGAIN. When concert is over, he leaves. Sad to see a good radio station becoming too commercialised. Listeners tune in to support good DJs not the station. Jia you!

没料到比利归队的消息公布后，会引起有关“新班次”的热烈讨论。
首先，要为咏梅开心。因为你们都深深感受和看到她做节目的努力！这对一个DJ来说是莫大的推动力和鼓励！咏梅，可喜可贺噢！ ;)
其实新班次由始至终都未曾公布，不晓得为什么大家都认为“鸡妈妈”一定会被调到其他班次呢？hmmm mmm Can someone enlighten me?
在安排DJ班次的时候，考量的因素其实很多。
其中就包括了主持人独特的个性，强项和转行。
就拿咏梅来说好了。她在空中给人的印象其实是多面的。你要她感性，她能！你说她是智性的女人，其实也没错！偶尔她又给大家一种傻大姐的印象！所以“鸡妈妈”都还蛮适合主持任何时段的！（注：CHHICKEN MAMA,别因为这番话，头大哦！哈！哈！)
当然，有些时候DJ也可以尝试一些新的和不一样的东西！就拿粉樱来说吧，去年她开始在空中和听众分享了很多育婴和烹饪常识。这是之前她未尝试过的。欣慰的是，节目获得非常不错的回响！
无论如何，不管DJ出现在什么班次，他们最期望的是大家能够看到他们的努力和用心。你们的支持其实就是他们最大的鼓舞！

我也是BILLY的听众，也很喜爱BILLY的节目，但难道972真是如此现实市侩？？不否认BILLY能带给972盈利上升，但每回他回巢，其他DJ就得＂让位＂？？这已不是第一回第二回了。。。能理解温先生也有难言之隐。。毕竟上层还有。。。

I listen to 972 from 10am to 2 pm daily. If Billy is coming back on this time slot, i will not listen to 972 anymore because he is so boring.
